Road trip in Scotland - Glen Coe Valley

We set off very early in the morning on the road that leads to the small Glencoe village. Short coffee break then we continue the road to the viewpoint of the Glen Coe Valley. The landscapes are grandiose, breathtaking but without sun ... After a few photos, we turn back towards the south to go back down to Oban.

Road trip in Scotland - Oban

We arrive in this charming port city where we stop to visit the Oban distillery. It is located in the city center and offers guided tours by registering in advance. We therefore had time to take a little tour of the city to soak up the atmosphere ofOban.

Road trip in Scotland - Loch Lomond

We reach the largest lake in Scotland and Great Britain: the Loch Lomond. We will follow it for kilometers… These banks are very pretty and pleasant. They have become the favorite vacation spot for the people of Glasgow. The place is therefore very very busy.

To the miracle! The sun is finally here, shy of course, but it is there !!!

Cheap hotel in Glasgow

A Glasgow, I did not try to stay in a Bed and Breakfast. I preferred to stay for 2 nights in a good, comfortable hotel in a good location for visiting the city. There also had to be the possibility of parking the car.

Le Motel One Glasgow  fulfilled all my conditions.

No more charming little rooms decorated in the old style, the access to which sometimes went through the living room ... No, this charm of Scottish houses is not present in this huge hotel.

But other advantages more than make up for the friendliness of the Bed and Breakfast.

In the heart of Glasgow, its location is fabulous because you can find everything you want nearby (pubs, restaurants, shops ...) and you can visit everything on foot! In addition, we were able to park the car in a nearby parking lot with a price negotiated by the hotel.

It is a contemporary hotel with a beautiful decoration, large rooms and which offers delicious breakfasts in the form of buffets.

The value for money is unbeatable for Glasgow: only 90 Euros per night !
