Visit Sydney in 2 days is perfectly correct timing. After our 1st day where we followed a Sydney's must-see walking route in 1 day, here's how our Sydney complementary tour on day 2 with my favorite places ...
Sydney in 2 days - My favorite places
From our hotel, the next morning we take Georges Street which we follow to the Queen Victoria Building. After 10 minutes of walking we arrive in the heart of Sydney city center.
Sydney in 2 days - The Queen Victoria Building
Here is one of the most beautiful monuments of Sydney: an enormous building from the Victorian era used as a chic store in the "Galleries Lafayette" style.
Magnificent stained glass windows, wrought iron balconies, colorful mosaics… It's a little gem in the heart of Sydney!
Sydney in 2 days - The Strand Arcade
The Strand Arcade is a beautiful Victorian-style shopping arcade located at 195 Pitt Street (in the heart of Sydney's CBD) between Pitt Street Mall and George Street. When you discover this place, you have the impression of making a comeback in the past and you surprise yourself contemplating and detailing all the small shops… The macarons stand (French) is absolutely beautiful!
Sydney in 2 days - The Sydney Tower
Sydney Tower is Sydney's tallest structure. The Australians have given it several names: the Sydney Tower Eye, AMP tower, the Flower tour, Glower tower, the AMP Tower, Flower Tower, Glower Tower, Westfield Centrepoint Tower, Big Poke, Centrepoint Tower or Centrepoint. It is 310 m high and is located in the business district, between Pitt and Castlereagh streets. The tower is accessible from Pitt Street, Market Street or Castlereagh Street shopping center and sits above Westfield Sydney shopping center (formerly Centrepoint).
Sydney in 2 days - Sydney Opera House at sunset
It is around 17 pm that the colors of the wings of the Opera are the most beautiful ... Taking the time to stroll again on the Circular Quay at nightfall is a real moment of happiness ...
My cheap hotel in Sydney
The hotel I booked, the City Lodge Hotel (who is called now Comfort Hotel Sydney City) was in a great location as we were able to visit Sydney in 2 days doing everything on foot. We did not take a taxi or public transport. It is an ideal choice for a very small price (88 Euros).
