Freedom, beach, comfort and low price! In summary, these are the 4 criteria that decided me to choose a Belambra holiday residence rather than a hotel or an Airbnb.

Indeed, when I looked for accommodation solutions by the sea, I could see that the vacation home is the best option. Indeed, they exactly meet my expectations:

• Generally, they are super well placed near the beaches and tourist sites;
• They offer optimum comfort (spacious apartments, WIFI, parking, swimming pool, sports equipment, wellness areas, etc.);
• They are interesting in terms of budget. Indeed, we pay the rental of an apartment which is less expensive than paying according to the number of people. Note that (for larger budgets) the 2nd option is possible if you choose half board or full board.

Why choose the seaside for summer vacation?

The luck we have in France is (among other things) its magnificent coastline with its dream beaches. Whether in Normandy, in Britain, a Vendée, in the Landes or in Mediterranean sea, the coastal landscapes are all different, each more beautiful than the next.

In addition, all these coasts can be the starting point of small tourist circuits which allow to discover the heritage and the local or regional culture.

What could be smarter than combining a lazy vacation by the sea with a tourist vacation to get away from it all… It is exactly for this reason that I chose a seaside destination for my summer vacation in France .

Beach for children, relaxation for parents, hikes, discoveries and sightseeing, the seaside is ideal for all tastes! Yes but where to go by the sea? Which coast to choose?

Where to choose your holiday residence by the sea?

With a very diverse coastline, France offers a multitude of seaside resorts. It is therefore difficult to make a choice because the catalog of Belambra residences offers a wide variety of ideal seaside destinations for summer holidays.

Here are the 3 most beautiful destinations that caught my attention for a summer vacation:

Seaside holidays in Corsica

In my opinion, the best place in France to find enjoying beaches, nature reserves and breathtaking landscapes is undoubtedly Corsica !

This destination is ideal for summer holidays not only for its beautiful beaches but also for its climate which guarantees sun every day in summer.

And to avoid the crowds of summer visitors from Southern Corsica, I spotted a residence in Northern Corsica which is ideal for relaxing and tourist vacations: the Belgodère Club “Golfe de Lozari”.

Its idyllic setting, its shaded park, its small air-conditioned villas, its swimming pool and its magnificent beach correspond to my selection criteria. Especially since its location is ideal for visit northern Corsica.

Seaside holidays in the South West of France

In the South West of France, I chose the city of Biarritz in the Basque Country. It was Emperor Napoleon III who made this resort all the rage when he went there in 1854 with Empress Eugenie.

Always trendy and quite "select", this coastal town has retained a very elegant architecture and has a magnificent and large beach. Biarritz is the perfect point to discover the Pays Basque, its white houses with red shutters, its many hiking trails ...

The coast of Biarritz is also renowned worldwide for its surf beaches for the enjoyment of our teenagers.

Finally, here I am speaking personally, there is a Thalassotherapy center renowned as one of the most beautiful in France. And that is the icing on the cake !!!

Which holiday residence in Biarritz?

Because I wanted to have “my feet in the water” but to be very close to the center of Biarritz, I chose the Belambra residence which is located on the Chambre d'Amour beach.

Only 26 minutes walk from the city center, this residence has all the comforts I am looking for and a very good restaurant with a terrace facing the ocean!

Seaside holidays in the Mediterranean

Before deciding on the Anglet holiday residence to take advantage of the advantages of Biarritz, I hesitated with another destination by the sea. Indeed, I had spotted the Belambra Club Selection Riviera Beach which is nestled in the sublime bay of Hyères.

But, finally, I kept this option for the next long weekend where I will do my little one again circuit around the most beautiful beaches of Hyères and its islands.
