The beautiful days that are coming make you want to go to Normandy for 2 days. Yes, but how to organize a nice weekend in Normandy?
Should you choose a dream weekend in a luxurious hotel, visit the Côte Fleurie, enjoy a romantic stay in Etretat or make a little road-trip in Normandy ?
Here is a guide to the possibilities for visits and activities to do in Normandy in 2 days with ideas for itineraries to discover this magnificent region.
Choosing a dream weekend in Normandy
Why not treat yourself to a real weekend of relaxation and pleasure in one of the most beautiful hotels in Normandy?
It was indeed a very good idea: Be pampered, treat yourself to gourmet meals, enjoy an exceptional place, taste luxury for a weekend to forget everything...
Yes, but the prices for this type of weekend may not be in line with your budget.
Except that I found a good deal: An online travel agency that offers discounted stays in high-end hotels or exceptional accommodation.
In fact, it is a private sales site where you must register as a member to access the offers. That's what I did ! So I was able to enjoy a dream weekend near Deauville at the price of a classic weekend in any hotel. If this tempts you:

Visits to do with this 2-day tour in Normandy
Day 1: Discovery of Etretat
Be enchanted by the breathtaking landscapes of Etretat, with its majestic cliffs and natural arches. This small coastal town is famous for its unique rock formations and pebble beach. Walk along the cliff path to admire the panoramic sea views and spectacular geological formations. Don't miss the famous Aiguille d'Etretat, a chalk pillar that rises majestically from the ocean. See my article: How to visit the cliffs of Etretat.
After exploring the cliffs, take time to relax on Etretat beach. Enjoy the soft sand and crystal clear waters for a swim or a romantic sunset stroll. For history buffs, be sure to visit the Etretat Museum, which traces the history of the city and its famous visitors, such as the Impressionists.
Day 1: The must-sees of Honfleur
Immerse yourself in the picturesque atmosphere of Honfleur, famous for its cobbled streets, half-timbered houses and charming port. Stroll through the narrow streets and discover art galleries, craft shops and traditional restaurants. Admire the colorful houses that line the old basin and observe the traditional fishing boats moored there.
Be sure to visit Sainte-Catherine Church, a unique wooden church. Built by local sailors in the 15th century, it is a testimony to the maritime history of the region. Also enjoy the panoramic view of the port from the Personality Garden, where you can see the city's famous half-timbered houses.
Day 2: Discovery of Deauville
Discover the glamor of Deauville, the chic seaside resort where elegance rhymes with luxury. Start your day with a walk on the famous fine sand beach of Deauville. Soak up the sun, take a refreshing swim in the sea or simply relax on a sun lounger admiring the view of the famous colorful parasols.
After enjoying the beach, head to the Deauville-La Touques racecourse, an emblematic place in the city. Witness a thrilling horse race and feel the excitement of the racing atmosphere. If you are passionate about horse riding, be sure to visit the Pôle International du Cheval de Deauville, which hosts world-renowned equestrian competitions.
Day 2: Discovery of Cabourg
Finally, relax in Cabourg, a popular seaside destination since the 19th century. Stroll along the Marcel Proust Promenade, which runs along the golden sand beach and offers stunning views of the sea. Admire the charming Belle Époque villas lining the promenade and soak up the romantic atmosphere of the city.
