Panama tour in 12 days
As a reminder, here is my Panama tour which requires me to book 3 different hotels:

My selection of cheap hotels for this tour
CHEAP PANAMA CITY HOTEL
To put it simply, I booked the same cheap hotel in Panama City for days 1 - 8 - 9 - 10:
My selection criteria were as follows:
- Good location,
- Air conditioning,
- WIFI and Low price !
I ended up choosing the one that had the best value for money. It will ultimately be theClarion Victoria hotel. Indeed, it is a central hotel with bars and restaurants within two minutes walk and which meets all my criteria for a very interesting price: 65 € per night.
This is a good plan hotel in Panama City because it is in a great location right in the center and is located 8 minutes from the metro Iglesia del Carmen, in a very safe and rather chic neighborhood.
The buffet breakfasts were very good and offered everything: salty, sweet, cereals, fresh fruit, fresh fruit juices ...
In addition, although I had booked a basic room (1st price), we were upgraded at no extra charge. We were thus able to take advantage of the following n ° 704! It included an entrance with a kitchenette (coffee maker + fridge), a living room (armchair + large screen TV), a bedroom with TV, safe and a pretty shower room. We had a wonderful view of Panama City (see below). And the little extra: a hotel rooftop swimming pool !!!
CHEAP HOTEL IN SAN BLAS
Bad surprise, it's difficult to find cheap accommodation via booking at San Blas. Indeed, you must first choose on which small island you want to sleep. Then, we discover that the offer is very limited because there are only cabins without any comfort, catamarans that rent their rooms very expensive or a camping on the Island of Cartí Satubgua.
After a lot of hesitation, I decided to book a simple private Demar Achudup cabin where we slept for 3 nights:
The strong point of these accommodations is their location. Indeed, the cabins are placed directly on the beach, under the coconut trees, facing a superb lagoon, with a hammock waiting for you for long naps in the sun ...
This a real cabin by the beach without any comfort but in such a heavenly place, we quickly forget modern life and we like to live like Robinson Crusoe!
Price 125 Euros full board.
CHEAP HOTEL IN BOCA DEL TOROS
Select a cheap hotel in Boca de Toros is not easy either. Indeed, in this archipelago there are many islands with, for the most part, a very varied hotel offer ranging from homestays to super luxury hotels ...
I wanted to book a hotel located in the south of the island of Boca del Toros. It was more convenient because very close to the airport and the pier for the other islands. But no establishment really suited me (price, view, tranquility…).
It was just a little further north on Ile Colon that I found this rare gem: JunglePaunch
These are small private chalets located 3 minutes walk from the beach on the edge of the Jungle (as indicated by his name). Bluff Beach, famous for its turtles, is right next door. And a little further north, we can meet the indigenous Mimitimbi.
The hotel is inexpensive (compared to other hotels), quiet and its location is perfect for enjoying nature, the beach, excursions to the other islands in short IDEAL!
Only downside: it does not have air conditioning. But it has a fan and a nice hammock on the terrace. And then you have to keep in mind that it's a cheap hotel in Bocas del Toro.
Super advantage of the chalet: it is equipped like a small apartment and therefore, we can prepare meals there.
