For the first 2 nights of my tour in Scotland I booked the Spacious West End Apartment which was a 20-minute walk from the historic center of edinburgh.
As it is an apartment with 2 beautiful bedrooms, it was the the most economical formula. Indeed, as there were 4 of us, at 130 Euros per night, it was really a good plan for our small budget...
Especially since the apartment was magnificent, very well equipped and spotlessly clean.
Superb location in a quiet residential area, very friendly and ideal for a quick and easy walk to the main sights of historic Edinburgh.
Cheap hotel in Saint Andrews
What a great address to stay in an unusual place, full of charm and in the historic heart of Saint Andrews: The old Saint Andrews University dormitories. These former dormitories have been transformed into hotel rooms with bathrooms and hotel service. The setting is therefore exceptional and the price of 80 Euros with breakfasts included simply amazing!
The center of Saint Andrews just a 5 minute walk away makes this a great place to stay. Note that this old building has a crazy charm and a view of the beach.

Very close to the Château de Balmoral, I had booked accommodation in Bed and Breakfast really nice : Crannach house. Even if the surrounding countryside is magnificent, the setting superb and the building very pretty, I must admit that it is especially Doug the owner who charmed us the most!
Considerate and extremely kind, he was able to make our stay unforgettable, especially with his breakfast consisting of bacon, eggs, pancakes… Low price: 89 € with breakfasts included.
Budget hotel in Insch near Craigievar Castle
On the road to the Dufftown distilleries which was our next stop, just 30 minutes from Craigievar Castle, I had booked another Bed and Breakfast : LILYOAK BED & BREAKFAST. Kim received us like royalty! Everything was perfect because the place was very convenient on our itinerary, the room clean and comfortable and the breakfasts really generous and delicious. Price: 80 € with breakfasts.
Cheap hotel in Elgin
Elgin Guesthouse is 2 minutes from the Cathedral and the main street. This is what prompted me to book this accommodation. TO 65 Euros the room with breakfasts included, it was a good compromise to be in the heart of the city and in a family and relaxed atmosphere. The typical Scottish breakfast was worthy of a midday meal.
Cheap hotel in Inverness
I found this B&B whose location is ideal right next to the historic center of Inverness. Indeed, from this accommodation, you can easily do all the tourist visits on foot. Only small flaw: the room was a bit small. But it was one of the best B & Bs in this area. little price and if near the historic center that I had found in Inverness. In addition, we were able to park the car easily near the accommodation.
Hotel facing Loch Ness Lake
With a breathtaking view of the Loch Ness Lake, very friendly staff, warm and friendly atmosphere, I can say that I loved this hotel. Clean, spacious room, magnificent view of the lake, the little extra of this hotel was its restaurant and its pub. The establishment, surrounded by nature, is very close to the pier (rental of boats and kayaks).

Hotel near Plockton
Hotel a little out of the way 15 minutes from Plockton but very pleasant and beautifully located. At the water's edge, it offers a superb view of the sea and the Isle of Sky in the distance… And for the evening: an on-site restaurant! Everything was good except the slightly high price: 150 Euros.

Affordable hotel on the Isle of Skye
Le Creagory skye has nice, large and clean single rooms. At 150 Euros a night, the hotel was nice and was 10 minutes from the center of Portree. The friendliness of the owners and the breakfast are the little extras of this hotel.

Right in the center of Glasgow, its location is perfect with all around pubs, restaurants, shops ... and you can visit everything on foot! This is a modern hotel with a beautiful decor, spacious rooms and delicious buffet breakfasts. In addition, we were able to park the car in a nearby parking lot with a price negotiated by the hotel.
The value for money is unbeatable for Glasgow: only 90 Euros per night !
