I thought I would find cheap hotels in PERU very easily and almost everywhere.
However, when my research began, I quickly realized that it was not a given. here is my list of hotels according to my 15 days itinerary in Peru.
My selection HOTEL PAS CHER PEROU
To have the choice and be able to have 2 rooms in the same hotel, I was faced with a single imperative: BOOK AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.
And that's what I did. As soon as the itinerary was validated by the four of us, I quickly made reservations on BOOKING. So, I managed to find cheap hotels in PERU while respecting my criteria of good location, cleanliness and wifi.
For information, the prices of all the hotels below are given for double rooms with breakfast included.
CHEAP HOTEL LIMA: HOTEL RESIDENCIAL CARLOS
CHEAP HOTEL HUACACHINA: HOSTAL CURASI
I selected this hotel for its very good location (at the foot of the dunes and in the heart of the oasis) and of course for its very reasonable price. As a bonus, we were able to enjoy a very beautiful swimming pool and a nice view. I recommend !PRICE: 42 Euros
CHEAP HOTEL AREQUIPA: EL PATIO DE ELISA
I booked this hotel because it was recommended by Thomas (our local contact) in particular for its very good location and of course for its great price. Indeed, it was right in the center of AREQUIPA and allowed us to do everything on foot (sightseeing, restaurants, shopping). It’s a strategic location! In addition, I particularly enjoyed the breakfasts taken on the terrace. I can say that it really is good hotel deal for Arequipa. PRICE: 33 Euros
CHEAP HOTEL CABANACONDE: LA GRANJA DEL COLCA
https://www.booking.com/hotel/pe/la-granja-del-colca.fr.html
Perched at over 3 m, this tiny hotel restaurant overlooks the Grand Colca Canyon. The place is unique in the world! Again it was Thomas who recommended it to me and I was not disappointed.
It is a magical place, full of charm and for its exceptional location, I would even say that it is surely the best hotel in Colca region !
Please note: As this hotel is lost at the end of the world, it is not easy to access. So, don't plan to stay there if you don't have a vehicle or a private driver or plan to take a helicopter. PRICE: 58 Euros
CHEAP HOTEL PUNO: HOSTAL VIRGEN DE LAS NIEVES
To book the Hostal de la Virgen de la nieve
This modest hotel is part of my selection, always for its location. Indeed, it is a few minutes from the pier for the islands of Lake Titicaca. The rooms are very small and the hotel is a bit noisy. But the reception was great! They offered us the2 day excursion to Lake Titicaca at an unbeatable price. Plus, they serve breakfast at the requested time (even very early) and it was pretty good. Finally, the cherry on the cake is WIFI! So for the price, it's really not that bad. PRICE: 16 Euros
CHEAP ACCOMMODATION CUZCO: Chez Arnaud
For the development of the itinerary before the trip, we had contacted Arnaud ALAGADEC. This French married to a Peruvian and settled in CUZCO for several years has offered to rent us 2 of his rooms. No regrets about the rooms which were large and comfortable. But a small downside for the common shower rooms which had a very insecure electrical installation ... In addition, the house is a little far from the city center which requires us to take a taxi to go to the city center, to tourist sites or simply at the restaurant. Note that the taxi fare barely cost 3 Euros! However, I recommend all the same especially for the welcome, the personality, the kindness and the precious advice of Arnaud.
To this end, you will find his contact details below if you wish to contact him:
Chez Arnaud et Evita – alagadec@yahoo.com Fixed: 23-22-32 Mobile: 984-47-52-05 PRICE: 27 Euros
CHEAP HOTEL AGUAS CALIENTES: EL MISTICO MACHU PICCHU
To book El mystico Machu Picchu
My selection criteria for this hotel: whether it is in the center ofHot Waters and near the bus station for the Machu Picchu. In addition, I found the room very pretty and comfortable (even if our night did not last even 2 hours…). Otherwise the WIFI was good and we were a few minutes walk from the bus station and train station for the return trip. Very good choice in the end.PRICE: 34 Euros
CHEAP HOTEL LIMA: HOSPEDAJE DIMAR INN
The choice of this hotel was made in relation to its location in the tourist and lively district of MIRAFLORES. From this hotel you have walking access to all the bars and restaurants to go out at night… I also found it very well placed to organize sightseeing tours and its price is correct in comparison with other hotels of the same category in LIMA . Again, I can say that it is really the good hotel plan for LIMA. PRICE: 31 Euros

Thank you for this invitation to travel to this beautiful country that we will discover in our turn in mid-November! Your suggestions will serve me greatly in the preparation of my imminent departure for Lima!
I didn't really want to take my tickets for the MP in advance so as not to impose a date on myself because we are going on a bit of an adventure! What do you think? Are Ica and Paracas must-sees because I thought I would go directly to Arequipa and then like you afterwards, as we are leaving for 15 days and I absolutely want to do the Salar d'Uyuni in Bolivia, I wanted to win 2 or 3 days!
Congratulations again for your fascinating blog:
Nadine
Hello Nadine,
Concerning the PM, find out well because now they limit even more the number of tourists on the site. But maybe on the spot, by going there very early, you won't have any problem getting your tickets… For the train, it is better to book it well in advance to have the choice on the timetables. Ica and the Nazca region: we loved it! But if you have to arbitrate between the salt desert in Bolivia and Ica, personally I think I would opt for the Salar d'Uyuni (even if I don't know it yet…). Paracas, we skipped for lack of time. It's complicated to want to fit everything in 15 days ...
