Scotland tour in 15 days - Loch Ness lake
This 8rd like the previous one, this stage will be totally dedicated to nature and landscapes. We will spend the whole day on the banks of the Loch Ness with all the images of the legends of monsters with which our unconscious has been imbued ...
When we arrive I must say I am a little disappointed as this lake is mundane like the other many lakes in Scotland. Certainly he is tall and he is beautiful! But in vain I contemplate it, imagining dark abysses and strange creatures inhabiting this black and mysterious background… The observation is the same: yeah, blah!
I wanted to do the Loch Ness Center & Exhibition Experience but I was convinced that the commercial and a little too “folkloric” side would have displeased me. This legend of nessie excessively exploited to attract tourists completely invaded this site which, despite everything, remains magnificent.

Tour Scotland in 15 days - Urqhart Castle
On the other hand the ruins ofUrqhart castleare beautiful with the backdrop of the Loh Ness. It is a site that is really worth the detour! I do not think that the visit is essential but some photos are to be taken!

Tour Scotland in 15 days - Unforgettable encounter
Here is what I liked so much in Scotland: the contact and the exchanges with the Scots. As we walked along the lake, we passed by two Scots who were in their garden. They approached and started a conversation behind their small fence. At the end of a quarter of an hour of sympathetic exchanges, they offer us to continue our conversation warm around a tea or a coffee.
It is therefore in their living room that we settle down, have tea and spend part of the afternoon at their side. This is how in Scotland, people like to welcome tourists to their homes and share anecdotes, memories, advice ...
It will be an unforgettable moment that will remain among the best memories of Scotland!

Hotel facing Loch Ness The Craigdarroch Inn
Here is a very good address to stay in a small hotel with a breathtaking view of the Loch Ness Lake.
With very friendly staff, the atmosphere is warm and friendly. Our room was clean, spacious and had a wonderful view of the lake. The best part is the hotel restaurant and pub. No need to move, a stay of complete relaxation to be satisfied with contemplating nature and the landscapes. The establishment, surrounded by nature, and very close to the pier where boats and kayaks can be rented.
