Cheap hotel in Bordeaux - How to select it?
To begin with, I eliminated all the hotels that were priced above 105 Euros per night. So I was able to work on a list hotels and apartments at low prices.
Then, I went to see the comments and ratings of Internet users on Tripadvisor and on other reservation centers to retain only the hotels and apartments well rated at the level of forgiven, quality of services and comfort.
On the number ofhotels cheap and well rated that I was able to select, I only retained those which were the best placed for visit Bordeaux and in nice neighborhoods for tourists.
Cheap hotel in Bordeaux - Which district to choose?
Bordeaux does not have any dangerous neighborhoods for tourists. Neighborhood safety is therefore not a selection criterion for choosing the neighborhood in which to stay ...
On the other hand, it is important to favor establishments located in the middle of Bordeaux city center, the closest to tourist attractions so that your stay is perfect.
2 cheap hotels that I have selected below are all located in the district of Bordeaux Golden Triangle. The Golden Triangle is historically the most beautiful and the richest district of Bordeaux.
This area is bordered by the Allées de Tourny, the Cours de l'Intendance and the Cours Georges Clémenceau. It therefore forms a perfect triangle delimited by 3 monuments which are important tourist sites in Bordeaux: Place Tourny, the Opéra National de Bordeaux and Place Gambetta. It is also home to the Place des Grands-Hommes which is located in the middle.
The 3rd hotel of my selection is also located in the city center but in the Chartrons district.

Among my little one selection of cheap hotels in Bordeaux, I present to you first the cheapest hotel of my selection. This is a very simple hotel but located opposite the famous Opéra National de Bordeaux. From cheapest hotels in Bordeaux, it is my favorite. I particularly appreciate it for its exceptional location. Indeed, some rooms have a view of the Place de l'Opéra and some have a pretty little flowered balcony.
A 76 Euros per night, it's downright a good plan !
Small downside: no reception at the entrance of the hotel, you have to go to the next street.
3 best cheap hotels in Bordeaux - Good deal at the Golden Triangle
Hotel de France (99 € per night)
What I like most about this hotel is its situation which is just perfect to be at the heart of Bordeaux golden triangle. Indeed, the location of this hotel in a hyper chic district is also super convenient for visit the city center on foot and if necessary, take tram line B which is a 1-minute walk from this hotel. Tram line C allows you, from the nearby Quinconces stop, to reach Saint-Jean station directly and quickly.
Given the very low price for one if nice location, you will have to agree (without complaining!) to walk up the stairs and have fairly small bathrooms… But also know that the breakfast is hearty and delicious!

Indeed, for 100 Euros per night, you will be ideally placed to visit Bordeaux because it is close to the river shuttles and the main tourist sites.
